Landlord Protector — Terms of Service

What it is

Landlord Protector is an independent advocacy service. We act as your representative to review and query the repair and maintenance work your managing agent proposes — checking it's fairly scoped and fairly priced. We don't replace your agent; we hold them to account, alongside them.

The fee

• £59 per year, per property, paid by Direct Debit.
• Your first 6 months are free. A Direct Debit is set up at signup, but nothing is charged for 6 months.
• After the free period your first annual payment is taken, then it renews annually at £59 unless cancelled.
• We send you a reminder before your first payment.
• Cancel any time, one click, no notice period. Cancel within the free period and you're never charged.
• 14-day cooling-off applies under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Letter of Authority

By signing up you appoint Rent Paid LTD (Co. No. 14261817) as your independent representative — to review repair costs, communicate with your managing agent on your behalf, request property information, and advise you on the reasonableness of charges. This authority is given voluntarily and may be revoked at any time. Acceptance is electronic (clickwrap) and is recorded with a timestamp.

We provide advisory and advocacy services only — all final decisions on repairs and expenditure remain with you. Our liability is limited to the fees paid in the preceding 12 months. Your data is handled under UK GDPR and shared only with your own managing agent under the Letter of Authority.
